Our Project Timeline
-
October 2024
We are nearing completion of our development work in Forest Pod C. We are working on pouring asphalt and installing landscaping where necessary. Development in Forest Pod A is also moving rapidly, as we prepare to begin building homes shortly. Development of Forest Pod B is slated to begin next month.
Most of the drainage improvements for the project are now complete. Once our work on the lake retaining walls is complete, we will begin the irrigation process followed by landscaping.
-
September 2024
This month, we will complete the installation of underground infrastructure for Forest Pod C. Road work and landscaping are underway, and home building activities will continue in Pod C as the development phase nears completion and we prepare to begin home sales this fall.
Development in Forest Pod A is also underway and progressing quickly. We are currently installing sewer and drainage pipes and have begun on the landscaping. In the coming months, we will begin working on the water lines and roads in Pod A as we work towards completion of the development phase. Home sales in Pod A are slated to begin in October.
Additionally, we have begun working on the lake retaining walls throughout the community—one of the final components needed to complete several of the lakes that are currently under construction.
-
August 2024
The Forest development is progressing well, with the construction of model homes now fully underway. The L-13 canal relocation project has reached substantial completion, with the new canal slope fully sodded and landscaped. The final phase of this project will focus on restoring the west end of the canal.
Forest Oaks Pod C sewer installation is nearly complete, and we expect road work to commence by the end of the month. We also plan to break ground in Pod A this month and begin installation of retaining walls throughout the community.
We're pleased to share that our landscape plans have been approved, and we'll soon begin installing buffer zones in select areas of Pods A and C.
Disclaimer: Maintenance of traffic (MOT), also known as temporary traffic control or temporary traffic management, are installed throughout the community when work requires the closure and/or adjustments of traffic patterns. For the safety of vehicles, pedestrians and construction workers, MOTs should not be tampered with and must remain in place until all work is completed.

July 2024
Construction of the Forest development is on track and milestones are being met on schedule. The turn lane improvements along Lake Worth Road are now complete, and the relocation of the L-13 canal is almost finished. Pod C sewer and drainage infrastructure installation is underway, and perimeter berm construction is nearing completion. Landscape installation has started where the berm is complete. We’ve begun construction of the model homes and anticipate breaking ground on some of the park sites throughout the community next month.
-
June 2024
This month, we are continuing to work on drainage infrastructure installation and completing the perimeter berms throughout the Forest property. Additionally, we will begin sewer and water installation in Pod C. Construction of the model homes will soon begin along the installation of the perimeter landscaping.
-
May 2024
Beginning May 17, we are going to resume clearing of the shared property line at the Forest site. Once complete, we will begin installing landscape buffers as well as water sewage drainage systems. Earlier this month, the former golf pro shop and ancillary buildings were demolished, and we will soon begin excavation of the lake in this area. We will also begin expanding the left-hand turn lane on Lake Worth Road.
-
April 2024
We are happy to report that all silt fencing along the Forest property line has been installed, and all trees slated for removal have been extracted. Beginning this month, the trees marked for relocation will be root pruned and re-planted on property, and perimeter berm construction will continue onsite. We are in the final stage of obtaining the demolition permit for the old pro shop and ancillary maintenance buildings. Once the buildings are demolished, we will begin digging the new lake. Additionally, L-13 canal relocation has begun in sections and will be finished once the demolition is completed. However, there is additional vegetation that will need to be removed along the property line.
Please note that the location of the silt fence does not designate the shared property line in all locations. In some instances, the silt fence is set further back on Mattamy’s property to avoid interfering with existing vegetation. The location of each homeowner’s property line is generally identified by a wood stake with a pink ribbon and a “P/L” marking.
-
March 2024
During the next two weeks, we will continue to install silt fencing along the shared property line between Forest and adjacent residences. The trees to be relocated will be root pruned and re-planted on property, and we have begun clearing the site of vegetation and will soon be able to generate the fill necessary for the perimeter buffers.
The pro-shop will be demolished when the permit is issued. Once demolished we will begin digging the lake where the building and parking lot are located.
-
February 2024
On Feb. 8, we began installation of the orange protective barricade around trees to be relocated or preserved at the Forest property.
We will have consultants on site beginning the week of Feb. 12. They will be capturing photo and video documentation of the existing conditions of shared property lines for Forest and adjacent homes and buildings.
